Find great work-life balance at one of these companies.

Trying to strike that perfect work-life balance is a Herculean task for many working mothers. It requires constant rearranging of your schedules, budgets, and even carpools that sometimes it feels like it's become a full-time job in itself. The best companies for working moms know you're working double shifts. When it comes to employers, we're not just talking about the companies with best maternity leave, either. You need benefits that go beyond the baby stage.

A recent Monster survey found that 90% of working parents ranked a flexible work schedule to be very important to them, whereas only 48% of employers reported offering a flexible work schedule as part of their benefits and perks.

Balancing your career with motherhood shouldn't be so difficult. If only you could find the right employer who gets it. Well, some companies do understand, as Working Mother magazine’s most recent list of the best companies for working moms proves.

While 66% of the companies on the list offer employee-resource groups for working parents, 26% provide similar services for employees working flexible schedules, and 91% offer backup childcare services. An average of 61% of the employees at these companies are telecommuting. That sounds like the makings of a positive work-life balance to us.
